The Richtersveld and vioolsdrift are within a mountain desert along the banks of the Orange River. Our location is perfect and overlooks the orange river with stunning mountain views towards Namibia and the south of the Orange River.
Our focus at The Growcery Camp is to maintain our camps and accommodation daily. We are planting new trees and cultivating herbs, spices, vegetables, and compost. There is nothing more rewarding than eating from your gardens and harvesting the fruits of all the hard work, from lemons, pomegranates, bananas, figs, mangoes and Grenadellas. We use these fruits to offer some of the freshest cockatiels and drinks along the river, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
